M & M (Moderator’s Memo)

     Important date set for New Spirit!  Please mark you calendars for October 12th, as this is the date we will celebrate our 15th birthday.  More information will be sent as plans unfold for this special milestone in our church’s history.

    This is also a good time to refresh our goals for New Spirit.  It is my hope that we can focus on strengthening our church through participation and membership.  Rev. Nichols had the publications from the United Church Board for Homeland Ministries which centers on building a stronger church community.  The information and research from this material can give us insight and ideas and help New Spirit reach our desired goals.

    Thanks to our boards and committees that continue to work and plan during these lovely days of summer.
